The Prep Baseball ProCase - West is an Invite Only event for the top draft prospect in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah's 2025 and 2026 Classes that will feature a Pro-Style Workout with Live Game Play to follow at Pepperdine University on Sunday, June 2, 2024. This event will serve as the final identifier for the inaugural 2024 Prep Baseball All-American Game where the top 2025 and 2026 prospects from around the country will go head to head in Miami, Florida at LoanDepot Park.
This event will feature the complete Prep Baseball Tech Package that includes a Vizual Edge assessment, Swift Performance Speed and Athletic Testing, TrackMan Pitching / Hitting Analysis and Blast Motion In-Swing Analysis. The technology used at the Prep Baseball ProCase - West parallels the technology used by professional teams to monitor and evaluation performance within their own organizations and has become a streamlining feature in the evaluation of amateur athletes compared to players currently in their system.
The event is limited in the number of participants. Pitchers will be evaluated/videoed during live game action. Rosters will be organized/built by specific positions to maximize playing time/exposure for each player. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, please get your registration in as soon as possible, as roster spots are limited, both by total quantity and by position.

Pitching Features Include:

- Hitting data access includes: Exit speed, distance traveled, launch angle, launch direction, spin rate, contact depth and contact side/height for each swing.

- Key ball flight metrics will also live inside player profiles at PrepBaseballReport.com for the benefit of college coaches and recruiters, which will help prospects advance to the next level. TrackMan's advanced data metrics will augment what players already receive from a PBR showcase, which includes an edited video of their performance, personalized scouting reports, verified statistics, run times and positional velocities.
Blast Motion
Blast Motion is the global leader in swing analysis and used by nearly every MLB organization. Following a Prep Baseball Report event, players will receive access to BlastConnect in the Blast App, that unlocks critical insights and actionable data from their performance.

Vizual Edge
Vizual Edge is a market leader in visual performance assessment and training that multiple MLB clubs use for its players. During Prep Baseball events, players will take the Vizual Edge 15-minute baseline evaluation. Following the event, players will receive an email PDF of your results labeled as your EDGE Score, that will identify your visual strengths and weaknesses and how they directly impact your on-field performance. Visual skills are critical for pitch recognition, reaction speed, timing, seeing spin on the ball, defensive performance and much more. Your EDGE Score will also live inside your Prep Baseball Report profile.

Refund Policy
The Prep Baseball Report refund policy is that of a transfer nature. Prep Baseball will permit the transfer of your payment to another Prep Baseball event that may be used during the following year of scheduled events. Again, registration fees are of a transfer nature and will not be refunded. If an event is cancelled due to weather, players will be issued a full credit to a future event.

Through both systems, the Swift UNO timing gates and EZEJump mats, athletes will be evaluated on a multitude of metrics that goes beyond just the 60-yard dash. Participants will be put through a jump protocol as well as adding 10- and 30-yard splits to the 60. Athletic testing metrics include:

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
